Disability and Welfare online discussion with Conservative Disability Group

The recent Future of Welfare discussion was a strong session that brought together supporters from across the country online to discuss welfare and disability with Shadow Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Helen Whately MP and the Conservative Disability Group, featuring contributing guest speakers James Windsor-Clive and Angela Matthews.

Key themes included:

  • reasonable adjustments for visible and hidden disabilities,
  • and helping young people build skills.

Look out for our follow-up session with our excellent Shadow Secretary of State for Work and Pensions Helen Whately, to be scheduled in the next few weeks.

"Great opportunity to hear about people’s experiences with the welfare system and their ideas for positive change." - James Windsor-Clive
