We are currently recruiting for two voluntary roles within the Conservative Policy Forum, the Conservative Party’s in-house membership think tank. We work to develop the policy potential in our membership, and translate that to our Leader, our Shadow team, and into general right-wing thought leadership.
Marketing Champion
We are currently looking for a creative Voluntary Marketing Champion to join our team. Over the last six months, we've been increasing our attendance on calls and seeing huge interest from members – but we know we can do
more. This role is to use our marketing to ignite interest in policy-making and champion the grassroots Conservative Party. This is a hugely exciting role that puts you on the frontline with members and outreach to supporters.
Topical Events Champion
We are looking for a Topical Events Champion to lead our monthly programme of CPF online events focused on current political issues within the UK. Our speakers in the last few weeks and months have included the Shadow Chancellor, Sir James Cleverly, and multiple members of the Shadow Cabinet as well as senior figures from across policy sectors.
We are seeking a Topical Events Champion that will lead in preparing a programme of national topical events, as well as line up guests, ensure productive discussions and circulate summaries. This role would suit a confident events manager experienced in working with senior stakeholders.
The full descriptions for the two roles outlined are attached below. The CPF is at present an organization of volunteers for volunteers, and these are voluntary roles on our core committee.
